About Image
Est. 2015
A private business founded on passion for fine watchmaking
Meridian Horology was founded by a collector who spent over a decade studying the secondary market before making a single private sale. What began as a careful, personal pursuit — sourcing exceptional timepieces for fellow enthusiasts — grew steadily through word of mouth into a discreet, respected operation.
We have never relied on mass advertising or aggressive sales practices. Our clients find us through referrals, through reputation, and increasingly through the quality of the watches we bring to market. We prefer it that way.
Today, Meridian operates internationally, sourcing from and selling to private collectors in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Every transaction is handled personally, with the care and attention to detail that fine timepieces deserve.
What Guides Us
Our Principles
Authenticity Above All
No watch leaves our hands without independent verification. We would rather decline a sale than compromise on provenance.
Complete Transparency
We describe every watch honestly, including its imperfections. Our condition reports leave nothing to interpretation.
Absolute Discretion
Client privacy is non-negotiable. We never share names, transactions, or collection details with any third party.
Authentication
How we verify every watch
Authentication at Meridian is not a formality — it is the foundation of everything we do. Every watch that passes through our hands is inspected in detail by an independent, certified horologist before we agree to offer it.
The inspection covers the movement (calibre, condition, timing accuracy), the case (metal, engravings, serial placement), the dial (originality, signature, lume), the hands, crystal, crown, pushers, and bracelet. We cross-reference reference materials and, where appropriate, manufacturer records.
A written authentication certificate accompanies every sale. If we have any doubt about a watch, we do not offer it — regardless of how attractive the price may be.
Movement Inspection
Calibre verification, timing measurement, condition assessment of rotor, mainspring, escapement.
Case & Dial Verification
Serial and reference number verification, case metal testing, dial originality and signature checks.
Documentation Review
Papers, warranty cards, service records, and purchase receipts cross-referenced against the watch itself.
Written Certificate Issued
A full written authentication certificate accompanies every watch sold through Meridian Horology.
